Russia-Ukraine live: Biden signs 'lend-lease' bill to expedite military aid

President Joe Biden on Monday signed a bipartisan measure to support a “lend-lease” programme, which would help accelerate and streamline military aid to Ukraine and its allies.

The US president signed the measure hours after President Vladimir Putin marked Russia’s Victory Day, a holiday celebrating Russia’s defeat of Nazi Germany during the Second World War.
